The description of seismic insulator
The damping ratio of seismic insulator can reach 15%-30%,while the ordinary rubber bearings is bellow 5%, The rubber insulators can extend the bridge and buiding structure period and largely shorten acceleration speed of the uppper structure, so it greatly improved the stress condition during earthquake, we can use rubber insulators in the area of more than 8 degrees earthquacke.
